Guidelines for Project Submission and Approval
Compliance with Community Regulations
All requests must be completed exactly as submitted and must adhere to the recorded Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs) of our community.
Project Timeline
Work on the approved project must begin within three months from the date of approval. If work does not commence within this timeframe, the approval will be considered revoked unless the owner has applied for and received an extension of time from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC).

Submission Requirements
- Submit the completed request form.
- Include a simple footprint drawing indicating where the work will be located on your lot in relation to your lot line and home.
- Provide measurements, descriptions of the materials to be used, and specific details about the work to be completed.
- If the project involves painting, include color samples or swatches for both the main body color and the trim color.
Contractor Guidelines and Neighbor Considerations
- Remind your contractor not to create loud noise before 8:00 AM.
- Whenever possible, building materials should be stored out of sight.
- Ask your contractor to remain respectful of your neighbors at all times.
- Ensure trucks or supplies do not block driveways or mailboxes.
- Be aware of easements and any buried utilities that may cross your lot.
Additional Permitting Requirements
Approval from the ARC does not exempt you from any permits or requirements that may be imposed by the City of Florence.
